With more than 20 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Charlie Attariani’s journey began long before he became a dentist. He first trained and qualified as a Dental Nurse at Thapperska Skolan in Norrköping, Sweden — an early hands-on foundation that shaped his understanding of patient care, clinical precision, and the value of compassionate dentistry.

Dentistry runs deep in the Attariani family. Dr. Charlie Attariani was born into a multi-generational dental heritage — his father, two brothers (Dr. Martin and Dr. Sean), and their respective wives all dedicated their careers to the dental profession. The family’s journey into dentistry began with Dr. Attariani’s father, who entered the field through hands-on experience in the military, before later pursuing his pilot’s license. That early exposure to the world of dentistry became the foundation for a lifelong passion that would shape the family’s future.

Inspired by his older brother Martin, Dr. Charlie pursued a career in dentistry with a strong sense of purpose. He qualified with his European dental license in 2013 and later went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.

During dental school, he also met his wife, Dr. Golnar Hassirian, who now co-directs EGO Dental Clinic.

I had an amazing experience at Clinic Ego. From the very beginning, the whole team made me feel comfortable, well taken care of, and completely at ease throughout the entire process. The professionalism and kindness of everyone involved really stood out. The results honestly exceeded my expectations I’m genuinely so happy with my new smile. It has made a huge difference for me. Whenever I had questions, everything was handled with patience and support, which I really appreciated. If you’re thinking about dental treatment, I truly recommend Clinic Ego without hesitation. I have been visiting Charlie and Golnar at EGO Dental Clinic for a number of years now. Them and their whole team are friendly, welcoming, professional and always give the most sound advice. I have had minor to quite major treatments over my time with them and Charlie has been able to 'save' teeth that other dentists have told were not possible. The range of services and treatments on offer are wide ranging and all are carried out to the highest of standards in terms of technical work and hygiene. I would not want to visit anywhere else for any dental work. Thank you

I have had many treatments with the team at EGO and despite my deep fears of dentists, they have always made me feel comfortable and secure. Charlie has even used a Virtual breathing VR experience to help me relaxed. They are also always considering your well being during treatments.
